OUR IMPACT
We're a small NZ team making real-fruit soda — and we've built Sidekick to do more than just taste good. From ongoing support on every can to seasonal campaigns and community donations, we put real money and product behind causes we genuinely care about. No tokens. No once-a-year photo op. Here's what we've put weight behind.
Sidekick Soda is part of Gobsmackingly Good Ltd, our family company in Wānaka, which became a Certified B Corp™ in October 2026.
B Corps are companies verified as meeting B Lab's standards for social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. The assessment covered how we treat our team, our community and suppliers, our customers and the environment, and B Lab checked our answers. We've written our commitment to all of them into our company's governing documents, and we'll be reassessed every three years.
Our certification currently covers our New Zealand business. In Australia and the United States our soda is sold as Sodakick, which isn't covered yet.

Wānaka is home. Grow Wānaka is the community garden, composting hub, and education space in the Upper Clutha — strengthening local food security and bringing people together through shared mahi. We donate cans and show up for the causes that keep our hometown resilient.
