Flavour guide for stockists

2 min read Fiona
Sidekick flavour cans

Trade buyers do not need a tasting essay. They need a fridge that turns. This is the stockist map for 250ml cans — the format we are selling going forward.

Live case pricing stays on Upstock. This page is facing advice, not a price list.

The everyday four

Flavour Job in the door Face it when…
Cherry Hero / most asked Almost always — open Cherry-heavy
Mango Tropical / hot-day You want brightness beside Cherry
Pear Dry / food-friendly Lunch trade and sit-down snacks
Strawberry Familiar everyday fruit Guests who want “safe” fruit soda

Cherry-first facing: How cafés face Cherry first.

Variety pack

The mixed variety 12-pack is for shoppers who will not pick a single flavour. Useful in grocery take-home; optional in a café door if space is tight. Do not replace Cherry with variety as your only facing.

Watermelon

Watermelon is a separate run / pre-order story when it is on offer — not a permanent everyday SKU to lean the whole door on. When it sells through, restock the everyday four (often Cherry): When Watermelon sells out.

Suggested opens (5 cases)

Café door: 3 Cherry · 1 Mango · 1 Pear or Strawberry

Specialty grocery: 2 Cherry · 1 Mango · 1 Pear · 1 Strawberry

One-flavour confidence: 5 Cherry — then add others once it turns

Case rules: 12 cans per case, mix flavours *across* cases, 5-case minimum. FAQ: Sidekick wholesale pack and MOQ FAQ.

What not to do

  • Do not open with one lonely SKU “to trial.”
  • Do not face glass bottles — cans are the trade path.
  • Do not hide Cherry behind milk or kombucha.
